It feels strange for me to say fiance, but a good strange. In fact, I feel like I have to smirk every time I say it. I like when people know that he is more than just a boyfriend though. I know the HUSBAND term is really going to freak me out!

I've been engaged for over a year now and I still can't bring myself to call him 'fiance'
I still call him my boyfriend or I just introduce him by his name.
People see the ring. They can figure it out without my labeling him.

I lOVE saying Fiancee, LOVE it, but still not used to it, like when I refer to him, I think about the title first, I get this weird grin on my face, as I say fiancee. Everyone must think I'm weird, but I LOVE it !!!!!!!

I can't wait till it's time to go through this with Husband !!!!

It's weird for me also only because like Thrilled
said I don't want to seem like I announcing it!! He would sometimes refer to me as finace' before we were engaged so it wasn't too weird hearing it after we were engaged-but I totally understand what you mean!!! it's fun though @ the same time!!

I am the total opposite from everyone else! I love saying 'finace' and it actually bothers me when people refer to him as my boyfriend. It feels so natural to call him my fiance and I can't wait to call him my husband!

We both are not used to fiance. We still use boyfriend or girlfriend unless we are talking to vendors or to people at work. I think it will be much easier to say husband because he will have that title for the rest of his life. I figure why get attached to the word fiance when for most cases you will not use it for that long.

How funny, my fiance (ha!) and I were talking about this just last week. I hate saying it! I really feel like i'm saying 'look at me, I'm engaged!!!' I will always say it once, and then throughout the conversation, I'll use his name, or call him my boyfriend. I don't think I'll have the same problem calling him my husband.

wow .. all the time. i dont want to call him my boyfriend anymore but for some reason when i say fiance i feel like im bragging or something that im engaged?? i think its especially weird cuz i'm still in college. hehe sometimes i just say 'my friend..'
