Anyone ever feel like their wedding is all for the guests?

We originally were going to get married at the reception hall.. so guests wouldnt have the big gap in between.
Then we decided lets to a church to make our mothers/families happy. But now everyone thinks there is too much of a gap in between the ceremony and the cocktail hour???
Even though Fh and I are going to provide a coach bus for all guests who want to go back to the hotel in between and have some drinks, and then back to the hall and back to the hotel....
Church is at 3 Cocktail hour starts at 7
So now im thinking of changing cocktail hour to 630 or moving church to south shore where most guests will be from... GRRr..I hate this!

It can become quite stressful pleasing everyone but just make sure you're happy that day & not stressed out. I originally wanted the ceremony at a church but changed my mind to the RH for my mental ease. I didn't want my guests waiting long between the ceremony & reception. A number of family members were not happy with that decision but I felt it would be best for FH & I.

I AGREE!! Whatevery is best for you. It is nice to accomodate for the guests but you can't accomodate everything. You have to do what is best for you and FH and what will make it easy for you.

its true you definitely cannot accommodate everyone i do think though that certain things are important for people to enjoy and something are more important for the couple to enjoy

Don't change it... that's exactly the times that I'm having... church at 3, CH starts at 7. I specifically wanted it that way so I could get all of my pictures done before the party started, I don't want to miss anything! I don't know if that makes me a bridezilla, but it doesn't bother me if the guests have a long wait... i'm sure they can handle it!
