Anyone ever go on a Princess Cruise....

I've heard that it is a much older crowd than Carnival and RC.....just wondering if this was true. Also if you have taken this cruiseline in the past how does it compare to other cruiselines you've sailed with.
Thanks

I haven't - but I've also heard that too - that it's older. Maybe because it's one of the older lines - so it's better known to older people?

Going on a Princess cruise this month to Tahiti , MIL went last year but it was to Tahiti also ,she said there were plenty of young couples as well as a lot of people celebrating anniversaries.

I just got back from a Caribbean cruise on RCCL and whenever we docked with the Princess ship the people we spoke to said that they prefered the RCCL cruises they had been on in the past to this Princess cruise. RCCL was fabulous!

I was on Princess to Alaska and that was definetly an older crowd.

Yes, Princess is generally and older crowd but they have great service, the food is excellent and lately they have been running some great deals so maybe more of the younger crowd(mid 20's and up) will start going on them.

I'm sure you will have a great time no matter what!

We just went on a Princess Cruise in May and it was wonderful. It is definatley not a party boat and the crowds average age was in it's 50s. There was great entertainment but after 1 am it got pretty dead. That was fine with us though because we were getting up early every day.

I have been on Carnival, RCCL, and Princess and I think the new carnival ships are the best.

I have been on a princess cruise. It is definetely more laid back than the previous cruise I took. More older crowd. The other cruiseline I was on was Celebrity and I enjoyed it so much more. Also, princess lost my luggage and I didnt have anything for three days. They werent very accomodating when this happened.
