Anyone ever had . . .

walking pneumonia? I think I might have it. I can't stop coughing and it feels like someone is sitting on my chest.

I have a doctor's appointment at 5:30PM (it's the earliest I could get). Should I drive myself to the ER instead or should I just wait till my appointment?

oh no! go to the dr!!! i had really bad bronchitis in march and the Dr thought i had pneumonia.

make sure they xray your chest to make sure theres no fluid in it

If you have trouble breathing, go to the ER. 'Walking' pneumonia, I believe, is when you have it but have no symptoms. You probably have regular-old bronchitis or pneumonia. Feel better!

It has been getting harder to breathe all day. I found someone to cover the remainder of my classes for the day. I just don't know if I should make FH leave work to come with me. I don't want to sit in the ER alone and I don't want to call my Mom because all she'll do is yell at me.

I have and it s *cks big time . if you go to the ER , you might be waiting all day and they will do the same thing for you in the ER as they will in the dr's ....i would call and see if they can take you any earlier . how long have you felt this way?

I've had the cough for 3 weeks now. The heavy chest started last night and got worse as this morning went on.

Im not a Doctor , but it sounds like you have bronchitis that is turning into pnenomia . do you have asmtha ? If so , go to the ER. I am and the first time i had pnenomia i waited too long thinking it was the flu and had to be hospitalized. since then I have gotten it 2X and was able to catch it before it go worse .

do you have mucus in your chest and does it feel like a band is around your chest , preventing you from taking a full breath?

I can't believe you just said that. I just said the same thing this morning. My chest is killing me and my legs have been sore for 3 days now.

Make sure you take it easy and go see a doctor. I'm not one to tell you that since I don't even have a doctor.
