We have them in the house! has anyone had the same problem and if so what did you do for it??

OMG - I have them in my garbage!!! Every night they come.
They have Have A Heart traps you can buy... or you can call an exterminator to get rid of them...
My problem was with my garbage... hot sauce, so far so good.

call an exterminator to get rid of them. When I lived in my apt in Massapequa, I had not one raccoon but a whole family as well as a whole family of squirrels!!! when they ran back and forth it sounded like a heard of elephants above me!!
They got in becasue the air vent was broken, so make sure you check thier point of entry and fix if necessary!!

They can do a ton of damage call an exterminator and get rid of them fast. They can be very nasty. I would not try to get rid of them on my own once they are inside.

We just got rid of a Squirrel in our attic - luckily we scared the squirrel and he ran out. We then repaired the vent that he ate through to get into the attic. (Actually my BIL repaired the attic vent - me and DH were too chicken to venture in the attic!!)
For the next few days we could hear and see him on our roof trying to get back in! But we put up the 'No Vacancy' sign!

I had a raccoon rip a hole the size of a football through my roof 2 years ago
Called exterminator and they got him out & then I had to get the roof fixed. UGH!!!!
