I've been wanting to do this for years, but dont know anywhere to have it done. Its where they analyze you and tell you what color clothes work best with your skin tone, hair color, etc.

Yeah...I really want to do it...I just dont have a clue where or who does it. I knew a girl years ago who had it done, but I think she had it done in Calif. They gave her a whole set of different color swatches that she took shopping with her. It just seems like such a cool thing.

Colors are a cool thing to have done. Know that if you have them done, it is based on skin tone and eyes alone, your hair is draped. If you wear an 'unnatural' hair color it may affect how your 'colors' work.
I have found, even knowing what colors are best suited for me, I wear what i want regardless!

yes, as I said I had it done whe I was in cosmetology school. For people that are clueless with fashion and make up it can be a great tool. If you have a sense of yourself and some sense of fashion you really don't need it.

ORANGE is good for me, red doesnt look good on me. Using a few accents but if i wear red dress, sweater or something like that then it wont work with me. I personally like it but because of this i dont really have red clothes.
Green works well on me especially when im blonde and also blue.

I had it done once several years ago at a friend's house. She hosted a party where a representative of a cosmetics company (BeautiControl) came, did all our colors, and of course offered BeautiControl makeup for sale.
They pulled our hair back and draped various colors of fabric over our chest and shoulders. The idea was that with the 'right' color, everything about your face will just 'pop.' Your eyes will look brighter, your teeth will look whiter, and your skin tone will look even and nice.
With the 'wrong' color, your teeth will look yellow and your skin may look washed out or sallow.
Back then, they divided color groups into 4 categories... Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. I think the system has since been updated, where they go only by 'cool' or 'warm' undertones.
I was a Summer. My skin is super pale, my eyes are blue, and my hair is light brown.
All in all, it was a fun girls night in. And I do stay away from colors that have warm undertones.
