Just want to be careful about that filling. . .in case you have any guests with severe peanut allergies. In some instances, a person with peanut allergies can have a bad reaction being in the same room as peanut-related products.
However, I think I'd have yellow cake, peanut butter, and then some sort of buttercream icing on top. YUMMY!!!

The cake Im putting it in would be the grooms cake...and I only plan on having FH and whoever in our family wants to eat it. I figured everyone else would be eating the wedding cake
Oh yayyyy I hope he likes it!!!

I think it's better to have in the groom's cake just in case any guests are allergic to peanuts... sounds yummy though!

I think that sounds great! I would maybe make a sign or something to display in front saying what the cake is just to cover your tushies for allergies though.

I was going to mention about the peanut allergies. Also, a lot of people just don't like PB. Maybe do an 'accent' PB dessert? Or a groom's cake?

Re: Anyone ever heard of...
Im doing the cake only as a Grooms Cake. The only people who will eat the cake will be FH and family (if they want). Everyone else will be given a piece of the wedding cake which will be canoli and chocolate mousse.
FH really loves peanut butter....but if there is a peanut butter cake in the room, can someone have some sort of reaction to it without even eating it?

I have to agree here... you don't want anyone to have any allergic reactions from your wedding... especially peanut ones.
I totally say put it in a grooms cake!!! Even moreso because he loves peanut butter and its the grooms cake so it's for him.

Yes, if their allergy is that bad. They have to create peanut free tables in school cafeterias for the peanut allergy kids. . .even touching or coming into contact with the 'fumes' could trigger a reaction.
