Anyone ever stay in the Red Roof Inn at Garden City?
Is it a nice hotel for OOT guests? I want something besides the Wingate Inn that is lower in price so guests can choose.

My in-laws have stayed there just for a normal visit, not a wedding. They said it was fine...nothing fancy...but no major complaints either. It's not the best location, but what can you do?

but i've heard it's a good hotel. i've booked it as a choice for my oot's.
it's an accor hotel, same chain as sofitel

My parents stayed there while I was having my surgery, since it's a pretty new hotel, everything is nice and clean. The staff was really good to my parents. I would highly recommend them.

We checked them out and they were our top choice of hotel before we went and saw Hilton Garden Inn. The staff at Red Roof Inn was the nicest! I would recommend them too! (Very clean too!!!)

Thanks girls! I think we will go with the Red Roof Inn, and the Wingate, since they have a shuttle to JT. I just want my guests to have a choice so that if they want to spend less, they can. I'm sooo excited! Save the dates will go out soon, and my 1 year mark is TOMORROW!!

I blocked at the Wingate, but when I called the Red Roof, they said they didn't block, so I just gave the info to the OOT guests on the wedding website and via email. More of my guests chose the Red Roof, I think because it was a little cheaper. I dropped one of them off and saw the room. It is very basic, but clean and pleasant. As far as I know, they were satisfied with the rooms.
One advantage of the Wingate is that they have a free continental breakfast, which might be convenient for the guests. I saw the rooms at the Wingate, and they were nice too!

they gave us pretty much the same prices as wingate and hilton garden inn, and the marriott in uniondale (which is where we blocked)
