Every once in a while, I'll either start laughing, or about to sneeze, and I'll feel a brief cramp - that lasts 1-3 secs.
Is this normal? I'm 5 weeks along.

Cramping is normal and is usually caused by your uterus is expanding... Everytime I sneeze I get a cramp. I think its from the sudden movement and tightening of the stomach muscles. My doctor told me the only time you really have to worry is when you feel really deep cramping throughout your uterus, like period cramps that wont go away.

I second what Aliking said thats what my dr. told me..sometimes when i laugh to hard i get a cramp and im in my 20th week. But it goes and comes.

besides the ones RIGHT in the beginning I think the 20-25 wks cramps r the worst.

LOL, I haven't gotten the ones Kptoys mentioned yet, but there are so many different aches and pain when your pg. There's also pains in your abdomen sometimes when you reach for something over your head or stretch. Oh the joy of being pregnant!

LOL, Yes theres more. The baby starts to put on weight in your 2nd tri and your uterus grows more rapidly to accomodate it. Therefore you get more cramps.

I have been getting cramps again lately and I was worried, I guess they are normal. I am 23 weeks.

I'm 8 weeks and get the occasional cramp or sometimes if feels like a muscle strain
