Re: Anyone Feel Like...

I feel like a........pepsi! Ok now I am just being silly. To answer your question yes I feel like that frequently. My cousin was married in 01 my sister in 02 and me in 03 I always feel like my wedding will never 'measure' up or it will never be all that it can be (maybe it should be in the army...ok now I am being silly again)

Re: Anyone Feel Like...

Honestly, I felt that way too. I think it is normal to feel that way, especially if you are limited in budget, or in my case - I was limited in time b/c I didn't live near my wedding site. I had very brief trips home to do my planning, and I always felt that I was forgetting something, or missing some critical details that would somehow 'take away' from my day.
I also had the pressure of 'measuring' up to my cousins' weddings that came before mine...one was at Villa Lombardi's and the other at Carlyle on the Green.
In the end, I didn't get to make programs or menus, or have some other details that they had - but NONE of that mattered.
My day was truly special and memorable to my husband and I and that is what counts. The things that we did to make the wedding personal to us is what our guests remember the most. The love that we exhibited that day still hasn't been forgotten by anyone that attended.

Don't worry about measuring up to anyone's expectations but your own. It is YOUR day, and no one else's. Do you very best on the things that you can do, and just enjoy every minute of your day!
