I want to, but I don't want to spend a fortune on it, but I still want it to look like it's not a piece of crap. Any suggestions for websites or where to go?

im so sad that i wont be able to wear my e-ring and especially my brand new wedding band on our honeymoon......no matter where we go i dont trust leaving it, they are just too expensive to leave in the hotel, even in a safe - plus they are so sentimental i cant imagine losing them or if someone stole them!! i'd be heartbroken :(
its going to s*ck that i wont even have a wedding band to wear right after i am married BOOOO!!

I didn't get a fake ring, but I did get just a plain white gold wedding band that I bought to wear for the HM, going to the gym, etc. I def felt better knowing that my real e-ring and wedding band were safe and sound in our safe at home while I was jumping waves and swimming with the dolphins! For me it was peace of mind.

It def s*cked not having them but for me it was worth it. I flet the same way, there was no way I was bringing them with me and risk losing them forever!

yeah i want to swim in the pool, go in the ocean and god knows what else! id be uncomfortable keeping them on and i'd be even more umcomfortable leaving them in my room.....id be so sad if they were ever lost :(

I was sad the HM was over but I was excited to get my rings back- one plus to leaving them behind!!

i wore my wedding band on our entire HM.... i went swimming in the pool & ocean, swam with the sharks/stingrays, and did everything else with them on! I didn't have a problem at alllll

I bought an engagement ring/wedding band set that looks almost exactly like my real ones from Overstock Jewelry. They have a large selection and even have ones that are knock offs of Tiffany rings. I put both rings next to each other and you can't tell the difference! I showed FH and my parents the rings and asked them to pick the fake one, they couldn't. FH figured it out by looking at the side since it is a slightly different setting. The real one has four prongs and this one has six.
I have been on numerous cruises and every one I always heard of someone losing their ring in the ocean, on the ship, or having it stolen while in port somewhere. I just didn't want to take the chance. I can always wear my real set when I get home. This set was only $49.95.

I didn't buy another ring for my HM. I did, however, leave my e-ring at home. I wore my wedding band the whole entire time though and was fine with it.
If it makes you feel better, you can always get a nice set someplace to wear on your HM.

it is kind of sad not to be wearing them right after you get married but i think I would be way more sad if I lost them or they got stolen on the HM!
you will wear them for the rest of your life - a week or 2 without them should be bearable!

i completely understand you! FH proposed to me half way through our trip in Aruba. The ring is a bit too big on me and I didnt want to wear it in the water and I also didnt like the idea of leaving in the safe in our room. I ended up leaving it in the safe because i figured it would be better off there than possibly falling off in the ocean. Ive seen some great cubic rings and diamonique rings at deparment stores and on HSN or QVC. Some of them you can hardly tell they are fake !!

I got another band that had smaller diamonds and white gold, ant it was very reasonable.

QVC sells Diamonique. I have several Diamonique pieces that I love, and constantly get compliments on. What's nice about it is that the simulated diamond is set in either gold or Epiphany (their line of platinum over silver). The Epiphany rings are less expensive and still look nice, because the metal that you actually see is platinum. I had a plain band that I put next to my e-ring just to compare, and the metal looks the same. No one would ever know. It's a good alternative if you don't want to bring the real stuff with you on the HM.

I am probably gonna leave my e-ring and diamond band at home, and just wear my plain band on the HM. Although do like the idea of getting a fake set!!!

I just bought this plain silver band on etsy tonight - it was only $8! I just want a simple band that I can wear when I'm doing things that might damage/etc my rings, but not have naked fingers. I can wear this while biking, at the gym, swimming, at the beach, etc... and of course, on the honeymoon - and still feel married.
