anyone get invited to the New York Junior League 'Weddings, New York Style' event?
I don't know how they got my name, but they sent me a very fancy invitation printed on paper from Tiffany & Co.... lots people at the event, Vera Wang Dresses, Sylvia Weinstock cakes, Bobbi Brown makeovers... it sounds very high-end and unaffordable They also invited me to afternoon tea at Tiffany for a presentation on wedding invites and 'social stationery' - whatever that is LOL...
It looks fun, but I've already booked a bunch of things so I'm not sure is worth the money.... its $40 to get in to the event... but I bet I would get some NICE gift bags!

When did you get it? I haven't seen it, but it sounds like fun.
I have thought about joining the Junior League in a few years. They do some great stuff

i got it too. it sounds like a lot of fun, but i doubt i will go. it will only make me want a lot of things that i know i can't have.
