Thanks! Its for my friends wedding.. it would be red roses instead of pink. But she has a really small floral budget and is not sure if she can afford them

I am planning on using red rose centerpieces like that.

I got a $90 quote from James Cress for 2 dozen roses in a round or square vase.

That is way out of my budget. So I have a few choices -

Shop around - National Wholesale Florist will definately be cheaper than that

-or-

Plan on making my own - Costco (their roses are gorgeous) sells 2 dozen roses for $14.95. Michaels/ACMoore has 40% of coupons weekly for the vases.

Yes, but it was in a package. I think they were about $35 per CP when you figured it out.

mine will be similar- but larger and different colored roses. I think mine will be 36 roses...(but I may be wrong) for $125 a table. I'm also having smaller vases with roses in them for each couple. so that's why it's $125, before I added that though they were about $100 a table

I got 65 from Pt Jefferson Florist when we were considering doing that. but we changed it to something else...still using the Pt Jeff Florsit though..they are great!

I got a quote for $100 for 2 dozen pink roses. I didn't go with them.
Try La Blossoms, she was very reasonable. I am not sure about that centerpiece. I got quoted about $65 for low centerpieces from her.

Maybe your friend can buy the vases herself and have the florist quote her the price just for the flowers and labor. Chances are she'll save more that way and the vase cost is completely in her control. But she won't have to worry about assembling the CPs herself.
