Anyone getting a seperate car for parents/grandparents

Just wanted to know..I really want to...want to see what everyone else is doing

Well then what do you do if your in-laws are divorced and can't exactly stand eachother????

I think we are going to, but I'm going to wait until next spring/summer to decide. We have rides for both sets of parents.

It will be one of my grandparents anniversay to the very day (they were married Sunday 9/3/50 and we'll be Sunday 9/3/06). I think a car is well deserved. We may just get a limo to pick up both sets since the other set live out in Riverhead near our location.

yes- we got one - its for parents and various other family members. I come from a very close large family - so we knew somewhere people are going to need a ride.

it was not that bad - we got them a simple 10 passenger towncar. nothing crazy.

also - i have done this a million times - ask if you can simply get 'drop off pick up service' - it's usually a lot cheaper.

My parents are getting a limo for the entire day...My BM's & myself are riding in it to the church. Then whomever needs a ride from the reception hall home, my parents will share their limo with them

Yes seperate car for parents and grandparents and then the bridal party will have another car

My mom loved that I wanted to do it for them as a gift, but told us to save our money. My dad doesnt drink so he said they can drive.

We probably will, although a lot depends on my dog (which is at my folks' house). They may have to run all the way home (in their car) & then drive back in anyway...we'll see.

But we were thinking of it, nice for the parents to enjoy themselves w/o having to worry about driving.
