Anyone getting anxious about being a 'wife' ???

Has anyone been thinking about how your life and responsibilities will soon be changing? Anyone ever feel anxious about it? Or wonder if they will be a 'good' wife? I don't mean that in a sexist sense, but...... I don't know.... maybe I'm just flipping out now that I've only got 71 days to go!

I am excited about being a wife, but I am more anxious about one day becoming a mother.

I think if you live together not much else will change..

I mean I will have the memory of our 'love' becomming offical but since we live together for almost 3years already I can't see much else be different..

Other then the name change..

Either way I can't wait to be the bride!

To be completely honest, being a 'good wife' is no different then being a good girlfriend.
They're one in the same and I don't know about other newlyweds, but to me it feels no different.

It's exactly like Theresa says, other than the name change...

So try not to stress it out.
It's not like you get loaded with all these new responsibilities that you never had.
That's what happens when you bacome a MOTHER.

I agree Susan! DH and I didn't even live together before the wedding and it still doesn't feel much different being married.
Try not to stress over it!

We live together and its like we are married (I steal all the covers, use up all the hot water, leave every light in the apartment on, and kick him while he sleeps). I think the only difference like T said will be the name change.

We lived together for 3 yrs before the wedding, but life still changed afterwards - for the better There's a more unified, close feeling we have, like we're now officially a family

im definitely anxious about being a 'good wife'. i mean obviously we're going to make mistakes, as will our husbands .. but hey thats only cuz we have no marriage experience

plus, i'm even more anxious cuz FH and I have always lived 3,000 miles apart and have never spent more than 5 days in a row together!!

I am much more anxious about becoming a mother, but that is only because when we get married will be living together for 7 years so I honestly feel like his wife already! I am very excited about the whole day & really being part of each others family. I can't wait to have last name either, I know thats silly, but I feel like it will define the beginning of our own family. FH has a son & I am nervous about becoming the actual stepmother, but in a good way!
