we just booked the inn of new hyde park and i wanted to know if ne one has gone to ne weddings there recently or if ne one else has booked it

CONGRATS!!!! I'm not having my reception there, but I am having my E-party there this weekend. We're not going to be in that gorgeous room that you'll be in. The food is awesome there, and the bathrooms are GORGEOUS there! haha

Can I ask what you gals what you were quoted? A friend of mine at work has a friend that switched from CLM to the INN and she got a better deal. So she thought that it might be worth a try for me to switch but, I got 2 differ quotes on the phone from Linda. 75 and 85 for a Thursday night in August. The girl I work with her friend is paying 67 with tax and graut. but, she also spoke with the owner.

Damn thats not that bad. we're paying 55 a plate, plus tax, gratuity, and matridee tip for our e-party.
if you booked it earlier, you could have gotten a better price, b/c the construction was still going on and you wouldnt really know how it would look, so i am sure they have up'ed from then. you should speak woth Katie, shes a sweetheart, and this is our 3rd party there (2 w/n the past 6 mos).

FH's cousin is getting married there in May and her e-party was there a few weeks ago - it was very nice we were in one of the small rooms downstairs but it will be beautiful once renovations were done.
Our only complaint was some of the food was a bit salty for our taste.

Fabulous. Glad to meet a May 09 Inn Bride!!!
I visited for the first and only time a few weeks ago. It looked like it was coming along quiet nicely although I must say my quote is very far from what the others got (much much higher) but it is a Saturday Night and I did add upgrades. I am so excited! Did you do a tasting?

we didn't do our tasting yet...Fh had a good idea and said that we should wait til May 08 so that we can not only taste it but.....see all the grounds the month of our wedding.....when did you book? who is dealing with you??

Crazee18 - I just saw that you plan to stop in Croatia for your honeymoon. I am from there (well sort of - I was born in NY) and we actually got engaged there (in Dubroovnik) on FH's first trip there this past summer. FM me if you need any planning tips for the trip! How did you pick Croatia?

Just booked Inn at NHP!!! We are getting married on 9/25/09 and FH and I are beyond excited! We worked with Frank and he was a total pleasure to deal with. Dates are booking FAST!
