anyone getting married or got married at St. Rose in Massapequa?

I can't find my paper but do know i they allow birdseed? I can swear they do but I wanna make sure

I have no clue,,,but I did just hear from a friend that they have an extra long aisle(I think its St. Rose) so just make sure your limo place has an extra long runner if that is the case. (if you didnt already know this)

Yes-- I went to a wedding there last year and they had birdseed. Just a word of warning-- the birdseed was stuck in the brides hair and hit people in the eye. Flower petals may be safer...

i am getting married there. my sister got married there and she used birdseed. i just looked in the book and it says this:

'you are permitted to throw ONLY birdseed outside the church. the throwing of rice or rose petals either inside or outside the church is prohibited'

I am getting married in Seaford not too far from there and they do not allow, aisle runners, birdseed, petal cones, nothing. Pretty strict but the church is amazingly beautiful so I don't care what they don't allow

I got married at St. Rose. The guests blew bubbles instead of throwing anything. The bubbles come out really cool in the pictures and you won't get birdseed in your hair/veil, etc.

Yea I know about the birdseed getting all over. But the FH likes the throwing of birdseed. Petals are not allowed and I am concerned with the bubbles and staining my dress or the BM dresses. Even though they say no staining.
Plus the FH doesnt want bubbles

I got married at St. Rose and I was allowed to throw petals and I had the petal cones. Do you have Father A? He will let you do anything you want, I love that man

I am. Father Dan told me we couldn't throw anything b/c there is a mass after our cermony. But I was thinking of throwing some money at the alter boys to sweep up the rose petals afterwards.
