Anyone getting ready at a hotel?

I have a free hotel room from my rehearsal hall and we also blocked some rooms there. Our check in time is early enough that I could use the hotel to get ready if I want, but I'm not sure how I'd coordinate getting the girls from the salon where we're getting our hair done to the hotel and then to the venue. I could have my parents help drive us but if we get a limo, I don't want them to have to leave their car somewhere.
Or maybe we don't even get a limo? We aren't sure. It's kind of confusing! I'm going to ask my bridesmaids what they think as well but what are you guys doing?

Anyone getting ready at a hotel?

This is why I decided to get ready at my house. I couldn't figure out what everyone would do with their cars and I didn't want to have to pick people up the next day so they could retreive their cars.
Is it possible to do hair and make-up at the hotel. If so, I suggest this and then getting a limo to the hall.
Another possibility is for everyone to get dropped off at the salon and then call a local taxi and to get you to the hotel, and then a limo to the hall. You just need to worry about having the dresses at the hotel prior to arriving.

Ugh yeah so confusing! It is possible to get my makeup done at the hotel but not hair.
The only thing I can think of is a limo to the hotel like you said but then someone needs to drop everyone off... I mean I could get my brother to do it and my step father, but if there's a limo, I want them in it too!
I thought it would make it easier but it might not.

Re: Anyone getting ready at a hotel?

Yes. I am. I'm having my hair and makeup done by my regular salon at home and then heading over to the hotel with my parents and MOH. Meeting the photographers there so they can take 'getting ready' pics and then heading to the venue to meet the rest of the BP and take photos before ceremony.

Anyone getting ready at a hotel?

I am getting ready at a hotel. Having all the girls meet me there (driving or getting dropped off). Hair and makeup artists are coming to us and we have a limo taking us to the venue when we are ready. I have done this before with weddings I have been in and it always works out perfectly.

No. I'm going to drive to the hotel and arrange for transportation to get from hotel to the venue and back for myself and any other guests staying at the hotel.
