Anyone go camping and want to give me a recommendation?

We're looking to go camping in September. Some place not too far away (no more than 2-3 hour drive), has to have real bathrooms and allow pets. Anyone know any places they could recommend?

I am not going to give advice about camping.. I just went a few weeks ago and spent half the time crying like a little girl. lol turns out im not the outdoors type I guess.
However, I do know that WHEN i do go I enjoy lake george the best. I went to a few places and all are great there. So much to do!! you can google it.

Haha I HATE bugs.. I am such a girl when it comes to bugs. I love hiking and everything but wish I could go back to a nice warm hotel room after lol. This past time i went camping was a new place that the FH took me to. As soon as we pulled up i started crying cause it was just in the middle of nowhere. haha.. then the second night it rained so hard we had to pack everything up in the downpour at 2am and drive home!
Camping isnt all that bad if you go to a good place.
