I've heard good things about Snowbird and Powder Mtn., although I think Snowbird is really popular for snowboarding. There is also Park City, of course, which is like the Aspen of Utah.

I found this Utah Ski Guide from Outside magazine and Away.com.

I don't know when you're planning to go and if you're up for something other than skiing, but it would almost be a shame to go to Utah and not see Zion Natl. Park.

I'm not sure, DH came home last night and was like 'hey, wanna fly to Utah for end of season skiing?' So now I'm trying to figure out if it's possible. I know they got ridiculous amounts fo snow this year so end of season should be great.

Where is Zion as compared to the skiing places?

Maybe I should plan the trip for next year ... there's only a few weeks of skiing left

Can I just say how jealous I am that you guys just got back from my dream honeymoon and you are already planning another vacation??!

Unfortunately, Zion is in the southwest corner of the state, while the big ski areas are in the north. Depending on where you leave from, it could take almost a whole day to get there. But it is the most magical place I've ever seen!

I read somewhere on that Utah ski link above that ski season in some resorts go until mid-May, so you still have some time!!!

we probably won't go - my DH is a perpetual dreamer, comes home with all these crazy ideas and then they fizzle Personally I'd much rather go to a national park then fly across country to ski. I'm strickly a bunny-slope kind of gal, slow & steady for me so the 'big' mountains don't thrill me.
We'll see though, if the price is right we may just go.
