We are planning for our honeymoon, and it looks like we may be going to Aruba. We have 4 hotels in mind. The Hyatt, The Radisson, The Wyndham, & Allegro. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

They are all nice, but the Hyatt is UNBELIEVABLE. None of them compete...very pretty!

I'll be going for my honeymoon in September. We were either going to stay at the Hyatt or the Radisson, but decided on the Radisson because we really wanted a balcony in our room, and from what I heard the Hyatt only has step out ones. Some people don't really care about that though! I heard both are really gorgeous, but I think the Hyatt is supposed to be the 'nicest' one there. But I'm happy with the Radisson, it looks gorgeous!

I plan on going there for my honeymoon in December. We're staying at the Marriott. We tried deciding between the Marriott, the Hyatt and the Radisson. We chose the Marriott because it's secluded and for our honeymoon we're looking for a little privacy at times.
From what I hear though, the Hyatt and Radisson are also amazing...the Radisson just underwent a huge renovation too. The island is just beautiful anywhere you go.

Thanks everyone! I hear nothing but good things about the Hyatt. But I really want to do all inclusive, which the Hyatt and the Radisson are not. I guess it will be up to FH, whatever hotel he likes the best. :)

The wyndham is the only high rise that offers all-inclusinve packages. At least that was the case when I booked my HM six months ago.
We were just there for our HM and I loved Aruba!! The front desk people at the Wyndham are morons, but everyone else was awesome. At first we had a room with a view I was unhappy with, but to their credit, they gave me a room the next day with a much better room. Be aware that partial ocean view means view of a blue roof and some of the ocean.
But two of the restaurants - Pago Pago and Azull were hands down the best restaurants we ate at. Azull is not actually a restaurant - they set up tables along the water and each couple sits on chairs facing the water to watch the sunset while drinking champagne and then each couple moves to their own table right behind the chairs to eat. There was a surcharge for Azull and at Pago Pago some of the food comes with an extra charge, but when you are all inclusive you end up with an AMAZING meal for a great price.
We stayed at Wyndham because we (and by we, I mean HE) wanted to go all inclusive. If we hadn't gone all inclusive I would have gone to the Radisson, which was absolutely breathtaking. Either way, I recommed you take a walk through there.

FI and went to Aruba on a vacation not too long ago and stayed at the Marriot resort. It was amazing and IMO had the best beach area. But there was also lots of kids/families. THe Hyatts beach was kinda small but their pool was gorgeous. THe radisson was also really nice...you really cant go wrong with any of these.

The Allegro also has all inclusive (Occidental)
I loved the Radisson the best out of the times I went to Aruba

There is a Mariott time share resort there. My parents own with Mariott time share and they said as our wedding gift they will buy our week honeymoon on Aruba for us. I might sound like a spoiled brat, but I kind of wanted to be pampered on my HM and not stay at a timeshare. That sounds so bratty, and I hate even writing it, but I want someone to make the beds and leave us little surprises in our room (do the hotels even do that? I have no real clue, only what i've heard from a few friends that things were left for the newlyweds). So does anyone know anything about this place?

We stayed at the divi divi, it was all inclusive. We really liked it a lot. Ididn't think I'd like the all inclusive bc of all the nice restaurants in Aruba, but it was very affordable and it was so convenient for breakfast and lunch. We still ate out 3 or 4 times. All in all it was a great place to stay, we had fun!

My FI family owns a time share at the Marriott in Aruba and it is great. You get the same service you do at the hotel as far as cleaning your room, etc. It is right next to the hotel.

Well it looks like it is going to be the Whyndam for us. I didn't really have a choice in the matter, since my father is paying for our honeymoon. They went to the travel agent without us, and booked the cheapest all-inclusive hotel package, whis is the Whyndam.
It is one of the hotels we wanted to stay at, I am just a little annoyed that my father would go and book without us being there. But I know we will have a good time regardless.
