My boss just came back this week from Atlantis & loved it! They have a direct flight from LaGuardia & they got a really good deal on their rooms... (he keeps talking about the 'Shark Tank Slide')
I've been there. It is definitely an amazing resort and worth checking out, although I wouldn't go back. It is like an entire town, you can easily get lost in there. The casino is fun and the shops are awesome, but it is really expensive. A bagel and cream cheese is like twelve bucks. They have a huge aquarium as well. The beach is nice, but not the nicest I've been on in the caribbean. I will try to post pics tonight.
Atlantis is beautiful, very expensive but beautiful. The older part (Royal Towers) is nice, but not as expensive and you still get to use all the facilities. The resort is located on Paradise Island. You might also try the Sheraton which is right next door.
