We went to St. John for a getaway this past April, and we absolutely LOVED it! We stayed at Caneel, which was awesome (in a VERY low-key, quiet, secluded kind of way). We cannot wait to get back. One of the best things about it is the short flight time! There is a non-stop from JFK to St. Thomas, and then you just hop a ferry to St. John.

thanks for the info...yeah the short flight time is what is really making us lean toward St. John...we figure the time we'll be spending on a plane to go to and from Bora Bora we could spend an extra 2 days on our honeymoon.
