I was talking to FH and we were saying how we went about 5-8K over what we thought. And not to sound greedy but you knwo we are never going to make it all back.

Anyone else??

We were a little loose when it came to setting a budget, but I had a general idea of what I THOUGHT we would spend . . .

I guess you know by now that we are WAY over that amount . . .

(You mean we are actually supposed to have money LEFT for a PLACE TO LIVE???? JK)

Our budget has been blown a long time ago. We def. are having mor then we ever 1st imagined, but were happy with all our decisions, and we dont want to have any regrets after its over

Like a lot of you, we didnt even set a budget. We had almost 2 years until the wedding so i figured whatever it is, we will be ok because we have so much time. I had a figure in my head for what it would cost, around 30k. that was w/o honeymoon because i thought if we had to we could charge that (i am trying not to charge ANYTHING and pay all in cash). Well once u add honeymoon and wedding bands, we are double that amount!!!!!!! So every month when the 'budget' goes up, i am like ok now we need to put xxxx amount away to be ok lol. It will be well worth it in the end, and i agree, this site doesnt help!!! You all have such wonderful ideas that i know the 'extras' are really going to kill me too!!! The rate we are going though, if we stay on track, we wont have to charge the honeymoon!!! but when u add it all up, i really want to just
I am so thankful to have u guys lol, cause most people dont understand spending a down payment for a house on a wedding

no!! suprisingly we actually stuck to our budget. i guess thats what you get for 2 accountants.

We are trying so hard to stay within our budget. I am a major sale shopper and making alot of stuff myself. But then there are things we decide we don't want to have to do ourselves. And then of course that means more money. I am always thinking about it, it sucks!
