or did anyone vaction there. i want to know if the weather is ok in Sept. I heard Aruba is very very windy. where did you stay? is there a night life there?

We went to Aruba for our honeymoon last September 26th thru Oct 2nd. The weather was great. it was very hot! And we were very thankful when the breeze came along because it helps to cool you off for a second! it was not too windy which i heard it could be.
We stayed at the Hyatt. WE loved it. Nice rooms, good service, great food.
We are not into the nightlife scene. SO we didn't go to any bars or clubs. We ate late dinners and went to the casinos at different hotels.
We enjoyed just relaxing on the Beach and in the ocean.

Yes it is VERY windy there, which is annoying to say the least because it is also a desert island and sand flies in your face all day. for some reason the wind always dies down at night.
the nightlife is good. there are clubs and casinos, plenty to do.
the weather is nice year round and it's out of the hurricane belt, so it would be ideal for Sept.
What I liked a LOT about Aruba was how safe I felt… no matter what time of day or night. it’s an 'upscale' island so there is no crime.
the restaurants there are amazing! excellent food! NYC Zagat rated caliber.
and who could forget... the best duty free shopping (on jewelry) of any island I have been to
