Speaking of Sam...I don't think that he's at the Douglaston anymore.
After all the great comments about him, I actually asked Thomas if there was a Sam there and he said he had left the Douglaston. Thomas is now the go to guy!
Didn't see a Sam-but i did meet with Thomas. He was really nice; went through the Menu's & everything.
I agree - Thomas was really nice - really took the time to listen and wasn't pushy at all!

I'm not thrilled that it's $10, but I'm going only because Douglaston is on my top 5 list of places to check out and I haven't been there yet...hopefully it will be worth it!
If it's a top choice; then i think it's worth the $10; you'll get to see the rooms; taste pretty much all the food. It was a lot of fun when i went the last time...
