My fiance and I are getting married in December but plan on going on the honeymoon the next summer. We were planning on going to Aruba but recently have been thinking about Hawaii. We are not big travelers/fliers but we do think Hawaii would be awesome. Has anyone ever gone or plan on going? If so...where did you stay or are you staying?

going to oahu, kaui and maui... staying at the hyatts in both kaui and maui.. you should def go!!! its soooo beautiful there!

going to oahu (Outrigger), Maui (four seasons), and Kuaui (Hyatt). There is so much to do there. I watched like 5 shows on travel channel the other day. it got me so excited!

Hawaii is beautiful. I have been there 7 times and I am going there on my honeymoon. Every island is beautiful but Maui is the best one.
My question for you is If your getting married in the winter why go in the summer. Summer is the worst time to go to any of the tropical islands. They all get the hottest and most crowded. If I could go any time to Hawaii it would be February or March. Its whale season, its 80s, and its not crowded so your more likely to get room upgrades, etc.

Going to Kaui and staying at the Hyatt and Maui and staying at Grand Wailea (Waldorf Astoria). Cant wait!!

Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach on Oahu Grand Hyatt on Kauai Hyatt Regency on Maui

I'm going to Maui and staying at The Sheraton...I'm a teacher so we can't stay longer than 9 days!!

We're going to Kaui, Maui and the Big Island. We're staying at the Marriott at all three islands. We were going to stay at the Hyatt but we found out that on one of the islands you can't go swimming in the beach. This will be our first trip but we know a handful of people who have been there numberous times and say Maui is the best of the islands.
