i love the showcase at the watermill

well i went twice because my band was playing there but last time i was there i one the first prize a valentine's day special package at the holiday inn

ummm- I forget the name of it - it's downstairs (we have 225-250 people) But they said if it's NOT nice enough to do the cocktail hour outside, we'll be set up for that in the Upstairs room - which seems to me that means I'll be the only wedding ?? -

I'm in the upstairs room, too small for downstairs....the stagger the times of the rooms so there might be another wedding but they claim you wouldn't know because upstairs starts an hour later and has a different cocktail room if it rains.

Yeah, but if my cocktail hour begins @ 7:00 and ends @ 8:00 - HOW would they get the room set up for the next wedding to be in there by 9:00 ?? - If I were that bride i'd be a little nervous ....

Thank you......here's how they told me it works. This is for a saturday night, i'm not sure if yours is so it may be different, supposedly the downstairs room has a 6:30 cocktail hour which would end at 7:30. So the room is free at 7:30. The upstairs room cocktail hour starts at 7:30 so they dont need that room until 8:30. An hour inbetween. HOpe that explains it....i'm upstairs so i made them fully explain everything

ooh- i'm a friday night. so we begin @ 7:00 -
I'm not really worried about it - i was set on a One wedding @ a time place, but couldn't find anything that compared to the Watermill- (well, nothing that wasn't $250 pp)

I'm going tomorrow night too!! I'm in the downstairs room (Vanderbilt) for the reception and either outside or the upstairs room (Astor) for the cocktail hour. We're getting married on a Sunday night so the cocktail starts at 6:00.

I'm bringing mom and dad (dad's job is the food tasting) until my FH gets there....i didn't want to be by myself
