My friend and I are thinking about going to see John Mayer at Webster Hall but we're a little confused about the layout. All the tickets are $35 for general admission. Does this mean it's a free for all with no seating assignment and people trying to fight their way to the front? Thanks for the help!!

I was there about 10 years ago for a concert and it was standing room only, no seats. I don't know if things have changed since then though.

Yep--pretty much! That means there are no seats, and you stand wherever you can find a space!

i love concerts there - it is standing room only, but the facility is not that big, so it never gets out of control.

gen admission means no seats and plenty of pushy people getting all up in your kool aid. but those shows are fun and i can't imagine a mosh pit breaking out during 'your body is a wonderland.'
