Ooooh yes! LOL. FH and I wanted one of our own for sooo long, but decided to wait till we got married. Sooo...not too much longer! Bout time!! LOL

it is so interesting to see how it is split between defin yes's and defin no's we are both quite itchy!!! waiting for FH to start new career and for us to move to d.c. and i really want to go back to school and get my RN first...would love to have a house first too.....so that is prob a three year wait on all of that :( but who knows you can't plan life right...it may be sooner it may be later

We want to enjoy married life for a few months before we start trying. Once we have a child that's it. Everyone keeps telling us that the first year is the best year of marriage. I can't wait to experience that

I do and I don't...I really want a child to 'make things right' so to speak...to care for and do everything different from how I was raised. But on the other hand, my practicality and selfishness kicks in, and I know we're not mature enough for a baby, not financially ready for it, and really want to enjoy just being on our own for a year or two because we haven't had that opportunity living at home.
As an aside, I had a dream/nightmare the other night that I got pregnant in March 2010, just a few months after the wedding. In the dream I was freaking, cuz we had to cancel the HM. Yeah, I'll make a great mommy dearest

I'm starting to a little which is funny b/c I'm not one of these ppl that loves any kid I see either. I know this may sound heartless, but I find most children to be incredibly annoying. I HATE it when I see kids being rude or obnoxious, and their rude parent just lets the kid run a muck. But on the other hand, when I see really cute, sweet, percotious kids I love them. I do notice more and more though that I'm noticing babies...

Not really....Fh has a n 8 year old who is a total handful! But when I see other peoples little babies I start to think maybe in like 2 or 3 years.

I totally agree with you about the rude children..i cant stand them but nice, sweet children i adore them!!! Sometimes i want a child right away but then i start to think i rather wait so FH and i can travel alone and enjoy being newlyweds..

ITA!! My FH's niece & nephew have picked up all of his SIL & brother's bad habits and they're the rudest little monsters (even my FH & his parents can't believe it). They break stuff in our house, and his nasty little niece was nasty to our pet rabbit and smacked it on it's head (mind you the bunny is only 3lbs b/c it's a dwarf rabbit). If it weren't a crime to beat other ppl's children I would've smacked HER on her head. Actually, scratch that, I would've smacked her MOTHER & FATHER on the head. They didn't even say anything (it was my FH that reprimanded her) and I think it's so passive-aggressive when parents let their kids be little hellyuns. Where's a tasergun when you need one? LOL
On the other hand, my FH childhood friend has the two most adorable & sweet little toddlers. They're rambunctious boys, but they're soooo sweet. I could just hug them up!!

I have always! But I am going to wait a little longer... I love being around them and having them for a little bit, but 24/7, they are a handful! I babysat yesterday... I had my fix for a little while! LOL

absolutely! I'd like to have a baby before menopause sets in!!!
FH and I are going to start trying on the wedding night! He'd like to start sooner, but I'm not going to waste all that money on a dress and a party I can't have a cocktail at!!!
