Anyone grout there own 12x12 tiles?

The former owner cemented down terracotta tiles but didn't grout in between them. Looks like they didn't even use spacers!!! ANyone lay their own tiles? How difficult was it?

Lol! That gives me hope! How much could they charge for grouting though, I mean, it's all cemented and laid out already, right? I think...

And Joy~I went to HD 1216 in VS and saw Jen and Marty! I can't believe he is still there! I was going to mention to Jen that I know you, but I decided against it...

Re: Anyone grout there own 12x12 tiles?

I am not sure, they were down in the house already. I don't think they're DAL though. They look like Special Order, but not to expensive. Everything in that house was S/O'd! I am having a hard time replacing anything beacsue I can't find the locks, blinds or anythign else in the stores!

Yes, please give me the number! I would rather get an estimate and if we can swing it, I want it done right as opposed to having Brian attempt it himself.

Re: Anyone grout there own 12x12 tiles?

We grouted our own tiles in the kitchen... it's really easy and only took about an hour or two... if you go to Home Depot, they have seminars on how to do this stuff, or just pull aside one of the people and ask them how to do it... the grouting part is easy... the hard part is cleaning up the mess
