Do you mean a refirgerator where the freezer is on the bottom?

We have one with the freezer on bottom too....
IMO I like the convenience of it but our freezer is WAY too small!!!

thats what a i was wondering - the size of the freezer, whether its a pain to reach down that low, whether they have more probelms, any recommendations on a brand, etc!

We've had ours for a year now and so far, no problems, except as already mentoined, the freezer part isn't that big.
We ended up buying a chest freezer for the garage because we like to buy stuff like meat in bulk and freeze it.

The bending down to reach into the freezer never bothered me.
To be honest, getting something out of the freezer is something I do once a day, if that, so I actually like that the fridge part is on top since that's what I reach into the most.

My MIL has one like that. I love hers because the frig portion seems so large.... Since you use the frig more than the freezer it makes sense to have it that way. I'm not sure what we'll get if we remodel..

I have a bottom freezer too. I bought it knowing we tend to only keep fresh food in our house...so its a rare occassion we keep anything in our freezer at all (except ice cream..and hey, i can bend over for that!) Its plenty big for our purposes. And it has these side out draw thing that is handy for keeping small things when we need to.

I really like being able to see the entire fridge at eye level. Its so much easier to see what we have and to clean.

My in-laws have one and I love it. Yes the freezer is small but they bought a small freezer that they keep in the basement in order to stock up on things. It's great having all of that room in the fridge.
