Does anyone have a really good DJ that they are using or have heard?? I am having a very non-traditional wedding and therefore I am not looking for a cheesy DJ. I enjoy many types of music but I don't want to hear the usual 'Electric Slide' or anything by the Pointer Sisters at my wedding... LOL :) I would prefer somebody unique who will play music to get everybody moving, like NYC lounge music with a kick :) THANKS!

We used More than Music and absolutely LOVED them. I really can't say enough good things about them. Terry was our DJ for the night and he played everything that we wanted and nothing that we didn't. They are definately worth the visit or call.

we are using Big Hits and I was very impressed when we met with gerry. So professional, everything is computerized and he has weddings down to a science, had great info and ideas on timing, song choices, etc.
the number is 1800 BIG HITS

We're using Absolute Entertainment. Kevin the owner is awesome...he got me even more excited about our wedding! And as far as I'm concerned, I think the Entertainment really makes a wedding. So I'm excited about them...and they're not cheesy at all!

we are booked with Absolute Entertainment....my FH and I found them to be very helpful....we were there for almost an hour just talking and asking questions! They made us feel very comfortable with our decision

We are using Dancejock and they seem to be very flexible because I also have strong feelings on the kind of music I want. They also have a bunch of emcee's who seem to have different styles.

High Energy Entertainment ROCKS! No seriously, Ralph is awesome and everyone cannot stop talking about my wedding 8 years ago! He is unbelievable... he had the grandma's on the floor with the teenagers.
My sister just booked him and everyone is thrilled knowing what type of party he makes. We have been to a few other parties w/ him there and everyone is better than the next.
I cannot say enough great things about High Energy Entertainment.

Check out DJ Tom Gordon. He did my wedding and it sounds like we were looking to something very similar. Tom is a DJ on the radio so that makes him extremely professional. HIs website is www.djtomgordon.com
