Anyone have a Sony Ericsson phone?

What does it mean if you try to turn it on and the on button just keeps flashing red? I let my battery run out by accident. Usually when I plug it in to charge it turns on right away, but I'm getting this flashing...is it just because I let the battery run out until it turned itself off?
