Anyone have a tooth pulled then something put back in?????

I have a tooth whose root was destroyed by my wisdom tooth, which were extracted in the spring. The tooth is now falling apart. My options are to have a root canal or get the tooth pulled. I was thinking about having the tooth pulled but since its a molar I want another put back in to replace it.

Do you know if they pull the tooth then immediatly put another back in (I will be unconscious) or do they let it heal then replace it with something?

I know I should ask my doc but I am putting off making the appointment to have my other 2 wisdom teeth removed cause it hurts

I think I would opt for the root canal...

If they pull the tooth, I'm not sure what they put back in. They could do a bridge on other teeth, but since its a molar there's nothing to bridge to.

I had a root canal on the tooth in the same spot on the bottom for the same reason!!!! Im tired of them!! I want something easy where I dont have to worry about the tooth falling apart in the next 20 years!
