Anyone have a work/coworker vent? Post it here!!!!

Here is mine:

I hate when people send me an email telling me to email someone else about getting an answer. They outline exactly what they want me to email the person in their email to me....so WHY do I have to send the email??? You just asked for what you wanted, except you asked the wrong person!!!!

I was jsut going to start a co-worker vent post!!!

It really annoys me when my co-worker comes in at 10 am and leaves EVERY day at 4:45pm....I get it we both do not have bosses in our office but c'mon! And please don't give me the excuse that you have to commute home becasue so do!! Where you live in NJ i closer to the city then where I live in LI! And I'm still at the office and you're gone....get's me everyday

Ugh, I used to have a coworker like that. But she would come in early and leave early. She would log what time everyone else came into the office everyday and make comments. She was so annoying.

We are very short on space here - they have another year left on the lease and we were all told to try to put up with it.

So, I've been spoiled with my own office. It's really small and windowless, but it was mine and it was quiet. Now I have to share it with a part-timer. She's great except that her kids/husband/mother/friends call her seriously every 5 seconds. All I hear all day long are her phone conversation. Thankfully she leaves by 3:30 - 4 pm every day and only works 4 days a week!!!!

1) How about when they come over to you and expect you to stop doing what u doing just to help them??? And to top it off... They hoover over to catch your attention

2) When they need some copies or fax sent somewhere they come over expecting me to do it for them!! Hell to the NOOOO!!!

3) When you have to PRACTICALLY ask for permission when taking COMPANY VACATION time!!

Today I didn't have a good day at work... I'm suppose to go on a cruise with my sister at the end of the month and boss thinks I'm going to beg... He is going CRAZY!!!

The 2nd in charge is a woman, I'll call her a$$face, and I assume she was unpopular in school. So she runs the office like a junior high school clique. She has her pets, and they can do whatever they want.

King of the pets took at LEAST 30 sick days last year. I'm crapping you negative. 30. And the lies were so ridiculous- always a migraine. And she'd even have her sister call.

And it was so predictable- the next day, she'd always come in with no makeup on, just to show how sick she was.

It bothered me SOOO much- I don't know why. It just enraged me.

However, it all was solved, because King Pet just quit. And the way she did it was wondrous. She gave them two weeks....and called out sick every day but two.

And the best part of it is, King Pet was very pretty. And the woman she works with is older and overweight. They worked together, but the other woman did ALL of the work. How about the broker they worked with PAID King Pet additional compensation EVERY MONTH, and paid the other lady NOTHING?????

I'm enraged even posting about it. This ******* had such a crush on King Pet, it was pathetic to watch. The MINUTE she gave her two weeks, he was so personally devastated to be losing his pretty girl, he immediately started lashing out at her and calling her disloyal.

Now, I know it sounds like I hate King Pet, but I really didn't! She was a really nice girl, just had a 'different' work ethic, and it was none of my business. But the taking a million days off thing was annoying, because god FORBID anyone else did, and they'd be GONE.

And ANOTHER thing- we are strictly forbidden to wear jeans, upon pain of death. King Pet would wear them EVERY DAY.

To finish the story, they begged her to come in for the last three days, and she swore to them she would. Her broker was on vacation, and the other lady she works with was home, because she was moving.

And King Pet decides not to come in.

And a$$face and her broker just couldn't understand it! The whole office went insane.

And I just smiled the whole time.

I'm not even STARTING with my boss who just hangs around my desk and practices his golf swing all day, and who has more money than Midas. He plays video games and does crosswords all day (rich parents), then walks around my desk, stops, and walks back, waiting for me to start to talk to him. And then he complains about every pain he has, and waits for sympathy. And he called me...wait for it....

Not so slim shady.

Okay, I can't breathe now, I'm so angry.

'ugh leonards, its for bar mitzvas..not weddings' <~ did i say i was getting married there?
