Re: anyone have any 2nd child labor stories?

I had my second daughter in May...My oldest princess is 10 years old... Yeah, I know - BIG break in between kids!.. Anyway, Danielle (10yr old) came 8 days earlier than my due date, and I was in labor for about 7 hours..whereas, Sofia who was due May 21, was 8 days LATE ! - (go figure) Plus, with her I was only in labor for about 1 hour! Needless to say, they are complete opposites!! Danielle was a crier and never wanted to go to sleep, and Sofia can entertain herself quietly in her crib and has been sleeping thru the night since 2 months of age!
IMO - every pregnancy and childbirth is different. Good luck with your upcoming blessing!!

I haven't even had one...but I just know my mom said that I was #2 and so much easier than #1 (my sister) and I was breech and had to be turned around in the womb...

I was late 3 days...

I have no children, but my mother had 3, and with each one, she was in labor for a shorter amount of time. She was in labor with me for about 5 1/2 hours, my sister was about 4 hours, and she told me that my father woke her up when she started labor with my brother because she kept on moaning loudly in her sleep and waking him up (men!). She barely made it to the hospital with my brother because she said that she was too tired to get up and go!

Sorry that's all the insight I have, and it's not even my labor story.

I was induced with my second child due to his size and time of year (he was born 12/22). I was only in labor 4 hours before he arrived. He was 10 pounds even and 20.5 inches long.

Good luck with your special delivery
