Trying to get ideas to show FH for colors of the vests and ties for the guys now that I have the BM dresses picked out! Anyone have any good websites that show all different types and styles of tuxes? thanks!

I want FI to wear a white vest, BM to match the top of my MOH which is a plaid silver, black, gray and GMs to wear black to match the BMs who are wearing black.
BUT FI doesn't want to wear a white vest. I have to work on him. I don't think he realizes he is wearing white, the decison has been made. LOL

thanks ladies!!! peabody that is so funny about FH! LOL I don't want him in white because my dress is not white, it's like a diamond white/ivory so i would like him in an ivory shirt--not sure about the vest, i really love just the tie look, but i don't want it to look like he is just in an ordinary suit. i was thinking maybe gold/bronze vests for the guys to match the skirts of the girls dresses. my brother already informed (jokingly) that he won't wear gold lol i don't know how it will look, but i want to keep all the autumn colors incorporated in the formal wear without it looking weird.

The vest is under the buttoned up jacket.
It's kinda silly to have the suit buttoned up if there's a vest under there though.
However that is the suit (or close to it) that my FH wants. He's picking it out himself. And he did a good job. He said the groomsmen can wear navy vests. That's the colors of my BM's dresses.
Thank God he's thinking!!!

That's cool that there is a vest though, because once the reception hits, if he wants to take the jacket off (which knowing FH he will, except for pics) it will look like a tuxedo and not just an ordinary suit! Thanks for the info!

My dress is also a diamond Ivory/white. We went to VIP Tuxes on Monday and their ivory shirts are almost YELLOW. A very ICKY COLOR. We decided on a white shirt and a light silver vest. On Tuesday I tried on my dress for the first time and it is alot brighter than their ivory. So make sure you have a swatch before you get ivory shirts for your FH.

Thank you!! I appreciate that advice--that is a very good point because my dress is far from ivory--next to a white dress you can barely tell the difference! that is good to know!! thanks again!!
