My mom has a ferrel cat that she feeds and she just had kittens. My mom captures them and then tries to find them a home. They should be ready for a home in about 2 weeks. FM me if you are interested.

There are a bunch of shelter kittens on http://www.petfinder.com . PLEASE PLEASE don't buy one--there are so many at shelters being killed!

I agree .. you do not have to go out and buy a kitty .. there are plenty in need of good homes .. we adopted ours through PAWS .. from the Petsmart or Petco that used to be on Rt. 106/107, I guess that's considered Hicksville .. it was just south of the LIE .. before IKEA and the Broadway Mall .. however last I saw, that particular store was gone.

Anyway .. lots of Petcos and Petsmarts have kitties that are up for adoption, through various rescue agencies .. and they've been spayed or neutered .. and have their shots.
