Anyone have any luck with ovulation predictor kits?

I just bought one and will use it in a few weeks, did anyone find these helpful at all?

I find it helps me because since I am irregular, I have no clue when I might be ovulating. So far no luck though...

I am in the process of using the pee on a stick ones this month for the first time (they look very similiar to preg tests). I had an idea when o would happen...the test results fit right in with when I thought I would O, I am finding them quite easy to read too.

I forgot to use the kit..I had it marked in my calendar the exact day to start using it and I for some reason thought I still had a fwe days to go..I cant believe I spaced out like that! We still counted the days and Ill use the kit next month.

I mostly forgot because Dh was away working in South jersey, it wouldnt have mattered anyway if I was ovulating..there would have been nothing I could do about it, I was really busy and somehow put it in my mind that I still had a few days..We'll try the kit next month..actually in about three weeks now

We were using the Clearblue Fertility Monitor for about 6 months. Being I am so irregular it definately helped...we are expecting in December.

I used a pee stick kit and I never got a positive, yet we got pregnant in the first month of trying. So either I don't know how to pee on a stick or they didn't work for me.

I used the 'pee on a stick' and the day I got my positive I figured i'd be ovulating in 24-48 hrs so me and hubby babydanced that night and the next and sure enough-here I am almost 6 months pregnant
