Anyone have any scoop or has met w/ Patken Photographers?NM *NM*

We are using them. My sister had used them for her wedding a year ago. She had Steve. All I can say is that the pics were BEAUTIFUL!!!! However, their prices went up from last year, but if you tell them your price, they will work out a package for you. If you have more specific questions, please feel free to ask.

We booked Doug for our wedding, he did several friends of ours. He was wonderful, a little pricy , but well worth it once you see his pics. People on this board have spoken very highly of Patken. Good Luck

We are using them in September and Stephen is our photographer. He came very highly recommended for people who don`t want the very stiff- all tradtional photos. He is suppose to be more fun and laid back. We didn`t find them very expensive compared to other place out there. Our friends used them a year ago and they liked them. The one thing is that you should at your time of booking- book a specfic photographer. People have not and left it open and they do not find out who their photographer is until 2 weeks before- which is not very good. Let me know if you have any more questions!!

I was wondering what everyone was quoted for there photo packages and video. I am thinking of booking them but wanted to make sure my quote is accurate. The video seemed high at $1695.00. I would appreciate any info. Thanks

wow that seems high..I am still waiting for them to send me their info, but heard good things about them. What is their package..B&W and Color?? photojournalist?? how many proofs do they guarantee you?? and if you dont mind what did they quote your photo package at?? I might be meeting with Doug this weekend, he will be out by me in CA.

Pricing....

The photo package included: 1 photographer (I`m kinda worried about that) Includes as many B & W photos as you want but a special camera has to be used. And they didn`t say about how many proofs you get. I am going to meet with Steve tomorrow. I would have loved to have Doug but his price was $1000.00 more and not in our budget. The price we were quoted was $2900.00, which seemed alot too, but included parent albums and 48 photos in our album. Also we have to make sure we 'click' with the photographer before we book anyone. I liked Paul Marino (I have seen him in action @ a wedding) but his smallest package started at $2600.00 with not much in it. WE BOOKED dOUG WHO TRAINED THE WHOLE STAFF. fROM WHAT WE SAW ON THEIR WEBSITE AND AT THE OFFICE WITH DOUG, THEY SHOOT PJ, AND CASUAL PORTRAITS WITH ALOT OF BLACK AND WHITE AND THE COLORIZATIONS. wE SPENT ABOUT $6000, BUT THAT'S WITH DOUG SHOOTING. hE IS MORE THAN THE OTHERS ON STAFF. iF YOU ARE MEETING HIM OUT BY YOU, YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT, HE'S A GOOD GUY AND HAS ALOT TO OFFER ABOUT YOUR WEDDING. Hi- Our package is $2350. That includes- albumn with 48 pictures, 5x7 for my bridal party of whatever pic we want, 125 thank yous, 1- 20x20, 3- 8x10, 1- 8x10 engagement session, all proofs in an albumn and a $150 gift credit. They work with the Meadow Club (where our reception is) so we got a bit of a discount. We are not having a professional video done. They said they will gurantee at least 225 pictures taken. Steve our photographer takes at least 300. He is going to carry around an extra camera with only black and white film for photo-journalism pics. That is something both myself anf my fi really want- black & white candids. Let me know if you need any more info!

I am so glad you responded. I was quoted the SAME package for $2875.00. When did you book them? I really like Steve, but I want to get a deal like you got. They are the house vendors for Villa Lombardi's too, so I think I will call them again today. Who did you negotiate your price with? Thanks a lot

Hi- I think the reason we got such a cheap is b/c of the Meadow Club. They told us the price was $2650 but b/c we were using the Meadow Club it would be $2350. We spoke to Tina. If I were you I would tell them that- other vendors are giving you a better deal. Please let me know if you need anything else.
