anyone have any wedding day regrets??

i do... i regret now reapplying my lipgloss funny i know but it looks like i had nothing on in most of my pics..

i regret not wearing my original hair comb and listening to people tell me it was too big when it really WASNT!!! /(it really does make me cryone of my biggest regrets b/c i ended up not wearing my veil for too long and needed the bigger comb)

last but not least.. not making a must take wedding pic list... and not taking pics in the gardens


what are your wedding day regrets?

All you guys are making me nervous about this must take photo list. I truley assumed my photog. would know what shots to get, I hope I am right, I pick up my proofs in less than 2 hours. We shall see if I will be jumping on this band wagon

Yeah, I have a few regrets. There are soooo many pictures that I didn't get of a lot of little details and DIYs that I put alot of thought into. I also didn't get pics with alot of people I wish I had like one of my BMs. There was 1 pro pic of us alone and it sukked. I REALLY regret not doing the must-take list as well-- actually, I wish I had looked around a little more when booking a photographer. I rushed into it and in retrospect. I know I should have made a better choice...

I regret my hair. It seems everything got rushed and my BMs looked great but I looked like an @ss. It was nothing like my trial and I hate it in all the pics from the side. And in the rush, my mom got neglected. They never even put mascara on her. I hate that in the rush, we got screwed.

I also regret not wearing a longline bra. I think I looked like crap in my dress in the boob area.....oh, and my hollow to hem dress had to have the straps taken up....therefore, too short. So I regret not getting other shoes.........

Sadly, my regrets are quite evident to me in every picture. suc ks......cries:

BUT....in the end, we're married and in love and that is what matters most!

I regret not having a photo with just my mom and me! I also regret not calling the makeup artist the day before to confirm what time she was showing up, since she showed up REALLY late!!! That still bothers me to this day! I regret not re-applying the lipgloss, though it doesnt look bad in the photos. I also wish I had brought my camera for a behind the scenes look at the day. Im sure Ill think of something more later, but overall this sums it up

i regret not going to each table. it was on the timeline...but no one reminded me and the night flew by. i regret listening to my mom and not wearing my red heels. i changed into them later on in the night but no pics and no one saw.

i regret not eating!!! i mean, we didnt really have all that much time to eat - but i keep hearing how GREAT the food was & i'm like, well i wouldnt know b/c i didnt get to eat ANY of it lol

plus i woke up the next morning at 6am almost ready to DIE b/c i hadnt eaten since like the morning of my wedding at 8am

Regret 1 - 'borrowing' one of my brother's perscription codine pills to help me sleep at 3am.. Bad idea. I woke up on the morning of my wedding dizzy and naseous and pale- and I still didn't get any sleep!

Regret 2 - not taking a pic of my bustle with me to the RH. Apparenty it was too complicated for my bridal attendant and she did it worng. I didn't notice unitl I saw my proofs. My gown looks funny in some of the pics b/c it looks like my butt comes to a point.

But seriously, these are the worst things that happened. The day felt pretty close to perfect!

great advice about the lipgloss. I will have to remember to bring that with me on my day.


lol i was thinking how grateful I was that my makeup artist reminded me to reapply. One of my BMs kept it in her bag and put it on me right before we cut the cake.

It was the best day of my life so far but i do regret not meeting the photographer before the wedding day to tell him what I wanted from his pics. I should have gone to get my hair done w/ my SIL cause her hair was beautiful and mine well It was just ok.

Also I thought I was getting the BM we met with and not the newbie.
But none of that really mattered at the time Its only when I looked back I would have chose differently.

OH and not taking a picture of my Uncle (who never wears anything but t shirts& sweats) that specifically got a tux for the wedding just cause he loves us.

I regret having my SIL in the wedding as she caused a problem the morning of.

I regret having 2 MOH's. One clearly deserved the title WAY more than the other.

I regret not taking more time to dance. I got so caught up in talking to everyone that I missed a good portion of the dancing. I danced, but I wish I danced MORE!

I regret letting DH invite his whole crazy family to the RH. I should have stuck to my guns as they decided to slap, punch and bite each other. They had to be carried out and the police were called. This also caused me to lose a LOT of sleep the night before.

Overall, my day was wonderful and I enjoyed every minute of it. These are just minor details!!

my only one was taking too many pics at the church!! we ran late and didnt get all the pics i wanted at the park other than that everything was exactly how i wanted it

I wish I had utilized DeSeversky better for pics. I chose it for all the little areas you can take pics but didn't hit any of them due to time. I also wished I had made sure to discuss taking pics of my DIYs, touches etc..totally my fault though...I wanted him to document the people especially and gave no direction...Still an awesome day and I still love my pics!

Agreed on the lip gloss! Also, not getting a video. Also the last one I told my photog that I wanted a pic of everyone on the dance floor around us and him on the balcony taking a pic b/c that was going to be our thank you. Well he forgot and so did I till the next day otherwise that's its!

I regret not making a must play list for the DJ...I was way too relaxed about that. I regret not eating...I didn't have one bite of anything at CH, and the food was SOOO good, and I had a bite of the chicken and steak....I was super dissapointed about that! Also, I wish I got a cousin picture...but I forgot to tell the photographer that day. Also...I wish I would have changed the veil the way I wanted to, I wasn't thrilled with it...although I got a lot of compliments on it.

Another thing...have the end of the night planned out...who takes what home....because my cake topper was put in my dad's car which was parked in the parking lot all night....it was melted...and I was really upset about that.

Besides that....it was great!!

Not a regret....but I totally forgot to put perfume on! If that's my biggest 'regret,' I can't complain.

I forgot to drink water before the ceremony and my lip got stuck to my teeth.
Everyone was congratulating me and all I could think was...I'm thirsty!
I forgot to hook the hook on the top of my dress.
And yes, I have a few lipstick -less photos...all that darn kissin'

You have nothing to worry about with TP. He takes alot of pictures and you should have everything you wanted and more. Good luck, I'm sure you'll love them! I hope you'll post them.

Megan .... thank you thank you THANK YOU for starting this thread! I have learned so much and started my must-take list tonight (with all the 'bride + so-and-so' pics I want - still have to add things lke CH room set up, RH room set up without people, etc).
