anyone have any wedding day regrets??

i do... i regret now reapplying my lipgloss funny i know but it looks like i had nothing on in most of my pics..

i regret not wearing my original hair comb and listening to people tell me it was too big when it really WASNT!!! /(it really does make me cryone of my biggest regrets b/c i ended up not wearing my veil for too long and needed the bigger comb)

last but not least.. not making a must take wedding pic list... and not taking pics in the gardens


what are your wedding day regrets?

I don't have many regrets and when I tell people my regret they laugh but here it is.....I regret how i tossed my bo-k!!! I threw that sucker so far no one really got to catch it. it went to the DJ booth...so i was kind of bummed..lol

Also I agree that i wish i had a must take list...I did before the wedding but on the day of everything went so fast that I totally forgot! When i think about it i wish i had it out to look at and such...

I tried to go every which way around it such as trying to not have her pay, to trying to work out a compromise where she would let us put her contribution towards flowers from another place. The flowers were beautiful but not even close to what i wanted.

My only other regret is not losing the rest of the weight that i wanted to before the big day thats a bit of a bummer

don't regret much but one thing i regret is that i didnt check my batteries for my camera. I brought it with me but batteries were dead and on top of that the memory card was full, some pics i didnt upload to my computer on there so couldnt just delete all pics and otherwise had to sit there and pick pictures to delete. But there are things i dont have pics of yet and i wish i did. I spoke about this yesterday but i really wish i had a pic of our NY yankees ice sculpture with the light behind it lol, its something small but wish i had a pic of it now. Also didnt take a pic of martini bar although helen took a pic of the ice sculpture next to it with vodka bottles in it so thats good. If my camera was working it would've been easy to get pics of these things bc we were able to go in alone to check out the CH room before they let others in. I know ill get pics or video of these things but wish i had taken them myself too. Also wish i personally took pics of our VH, i asked for something different rather than bringing tables to the middle of the dance floor and loved how it came out. We did it in a separate room and when walking in they had the lights out at first with red votives all around and did a lounge feel, and everything had its own station such as popcorn machine, cotton candy, waffle bar and stuff like that. I do have it all on video bc our videographer was right behind us when we walked in

my only reget was not sleeping AT ALL the night before.

I was sooo tired that I was almost relieved at 12:30am when the wedding was over so we could get back to the hotel.

I'm not married yet, but my biggest regrets are...

Letting FH suggest we get married in the AM. I would KILL for the evening but the night booked as soon as I decided to check on it. (My hall does back to back weddings, 2 per day). The idea of doing hair and make up at 5AM and then what do I do at 5:30PM when the day is over. Most people are from NJ and heading home or from LI and not into partying :(

I also wish I booked with the house photogs for some reason. I was trying to be cheap.

I also kinda wish I only picked a MOH and FH picked a BM. Just easier and cheaper for flowers and everything else. Nobody is truly thrilled to be in our wedding. Ha ha.

its ok helen, i am sure it will show up. Its my stupidity for not checking my camera before i left the house. I would've stopped at a store first, i mean we made the bus stop at a DD, i could've gotten out and gotten batteries too lol.

i regret stressing for TWO years about everything - it was all perfect

i regret not making sure the photog got pictures of brutus

i regret not telling DH about the flowers for Mary. this was one of the most important parts of the ceremony for me bc i wanted a minute to thank God for blessing me with such a beautiul wedding and also to say a quick hello to my grandma. . .

DH didnt realize that we had the WHOLE Ave Maria to stay in there. . .so FIRST he pretended to throw the flowers like a football at Mary then after a minute he dragged me out of there bc he thought we took too long - then, we had to sit upthere for the whole Ave Maria ANYWAY

i get sad thinking about it i hate this thread!!!

i also kind of regret not encouragin DH to have his two best friends in the bridal party but at the time we werent really seeing them much and i wanted all family . . . .NOW he is in their BPs and we see eachother all the time!

I regret not hiring a babysitter to stay w/ my nephew/rb in the BS. My bil stayed w/ him in there for a bit b/c he was tired and didnt like the loud music, but he ended up taking him home.

But i didnt get to dance w/ him like we all talked about before (he called it the fun dance party)

He's little though and doesnt realize he wasnt there the whole time. He still comes up to our apt and asks to see pics on the computer of DH and I at the 'fun dance party' so he's happy. LOL

Also, him and my bil werent in the family pic or the grandchildren pic, but i photoshopped them in lol

Also, my photog didnt take any artistic pics or any pics of my RH room beforehand or menus, CPs, etc. Sothat kind of bummed me out. But we do have a lot of good pics.
