Anyone have experience with The Roslyn Hotel?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have experience with The Roslyn Hotel on Old Northern Blvd in Roslyn? We're thinking of booking a room block there. We went to see the hotel and it seems nice, reasonably priced, and close to our venue, but I haven't been all that impressed with the person who has been helping us out. Did anyone book a block of rooms here for their wedding, and what was your experience?

Also, we're looking for a less expensive hotel (<150/night) that's not too far from the Swan Club, so that we can give our guests two alternatives. I'd love any suggestions for hotels!

We did a hotel room block at the Viana Hotel & Spa and the Andrew Hotel. They are not too far from the hotel and plus the Swan has 'The Andrew Hotel' as one of their choices on their site.

In regards to the rate though, they are a little pricer than the rate you're looking for. You could try the Hampton Inn at Garden City. That's another recommended hotel from the Swan Club. I think they may be a little more reasonable.
