anyone have experience with this or suggestions?

I am planning to wear my half up half down with curls..and i am not going to wear my veil the whole night, it will come up after the ceremony..so my question is what kind of comb would i get on the veil? I wanted to have a decorative clip over over the veil..but i dont know if this is possible? and i would want the clip on for the reception..
any suggestions??

Hmm. I am not quite sure what you mean? Have you thought of having a blingy headband and then just clip the veil in the back part of the half up so when you remove you still have some fanciness?

Oh ok. I would think that you would attach the clip to the veil and then remove veil and put clip in hair but I am not too sure. Good luck on finding this out!

Omg i know exactly what you are talking about- I am having my hair half-up half-down

This is the clip I got:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/107681652/crystal-rhinestone-and-pearl-bridal-comb

My cousin had a similar clip and the veil clipped right underneath it. After the ceremony she just took off the veil and kept the clip in. But because the veil clips underneath, it is lower on your head so if you plan on have a blusher, or whatever it's called that covers your face when you walk down the aisle, then you might not want to do something like this... I'm not doing the blusher because i don't trust my dad to flip it correctly lol! But seriously, i'm just not into that tradition really

Thanks girls. I didn't know if it would work- glad others are doing the same thing. I guess I'm just wondering - hoping it doesn't mess up the hair do

Love! Love! Love!!!! If you don't mind who did your hair? This is exactly what I would love to do to mine the day off and remove my veil and possible wear a little tiara or band.
