We are still searching for our RH. Been to 4 so far, Fox Hollow, Watermill, East Wind, and Stewart Manor Country Club. I was quoted 84++ for a Friday night in December at The Watermill, anyone know their prices for other times of the year? Fox Hollow was a lot more then I had thought it would be. I knew 2 people who got married their in 2010 and paid around 75++ pp. When I got a price for a Friday in December it was 98++ pp, I know its a new room but even the old one is 94 pp. I loved Fox Hollow but I just think that it is too much. Going soon to look at Swan Club, the Riviera, CLM, Floral Terrace, Jericho Terrace, and The Venetian Yacht Club, which is where my prom was. If anyone has any input on those or other suggestions to check out I'd love to hear it! I don't want to fall in love with another place I can't afford
I don't really want Swan Club because FH brother was married there 4 years ago, as well as his Mom about 12 years ago. And his other brother is getting married at Leonards in 2013 too so that is out.

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
Wowwww.... thats crazy that it is that much per person in December, which is off-season. I'm getting married at Crest Hollow on a Friday night in May and it is $75 per person with the guarantee of 200 people. How many people r u planning on having? It's definitely worth looking there... its beautiful!

Were only going to have between 130-150 people. I will give them a call! I'm open to looking anywhere plus I would love to get married in the Spring/Summer! Thats an awesome price

When you call them, ask to meet with Tom Reitano... He's my BM and he's really great! Let me know how it goes!!! Good luck!

Wish I could help but it sounds like you're trying to stay under $100pp and the RH's I looked at weren't in that price range. Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Chateau Briand is around $90 for a Friday night (April), Fox Hollow quoted us about the same as you. I don't know if you're willing to go East, but Larkfield Manor was pretty inexpensive - my friend is getting married there next week on 10/28 & is paying $78pp. East Wind might be about the same price (also out East). HTH! Good Luck!

I highly recommend Crest Hollow CC. The outdoor area is very nice with the pool. The food is great and you can get a great price any season. I think you have to use their vendors though.
Venetian Yacht Club is also beautiful and we've heard the food is great. We chose the end of March and got a great deal.
Villa Lombardis and Lombardi's on the Bay are also great choices, their food is delicious (Italian style) Prices are very reasonable.
Giorgios is a little more expensive but the place is gorgeous! For 2012 I believe it's booked already but if you are 2013, you should be able to get in.
Riviera in the summer is not cheap unless it's on a Thursday or maybe a Friday night. It's got a nice view, the inside is dark wood...very rustic. Totally different than Crest Hollow with the marble.
Have you considered Chateau La Mer?

I forgot about Bridgeview Yacht Club! That's a great choice.

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
I am shocked to see the pricing for Watermill considering I was quoted $79 for a Saturday night in march (which they later lower on the phone when I was negotiating some). I'm surprised at the pricing.. Definitely check out Crest Hollow, I got great pricing there for March as well. Fox hollow gave me $74 for a saturday night in March. Dec-March should be around the same since it's all off season so I don't know how it jumps $20 a head!
Weird question, but are you wearing your ring to the meetings, and if so, is it a nice size? Someone at a hall was telling me to not wear my ring and not park a beamer outside because your price instantly goes up when you walk in the door. Amazing, huh?
Villa Lombardi's & Lombardi's on the bay will run you around $92 a head for off season, they do their menus funny now so you can get it down to like $75 or so but you're not getting a whole lot. They have a base price and build off of it by adding $$ per person by the thing (for example, hor dourves cost $2 a person, take them away and BAM! you're price goes down.. it's weird lol)
Timber Point had good pricing too, just wasn't my style. People say great things about Smithtown Landing, another Lessings facility, but I've never experienced it myself.
Good Luck in your search!

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
Just so you know, December is not off season. There are so many Christmas parties, the halls are not giving away December dates at low rates.

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
I would inquire about pricing during another month....they may be overcharging since they can make morre doing holiday parties... just a thought.
Larkfield Manor has really good prices, so I would def give them a call.
good luck!

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
I got quoted prices much lower than that for my January wedding. You should try Larkfield Manor. They were very nice, the cocktail hour room and their bars are beautiful. They include a lot in the price per person they give you. The big ballroom with the huge bar can be cut in half for smaller weddings much nicer than their smaller room. I also looked at North Ritz, Timberpoint, Smithtown Landing and the Woodlands all under $90 per person.

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
I did wear my ring, but it is not so big lol. It's my fiancés grandmothers ring. He did come right from work in slacks and a shirt and tie and I was dressed pretty nice as well I wonder if that's why they quoted us so high at the Fox Hollow! He told me he could do 113++ pp (down from 123!!) for the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. And we met with Bob from the Watermill and I am shocked that your paying that for June! I'm going to need to speak with him about prices again, it seems we are getting high bids from everywhere. We went to Jericho Terrace last night and were quoted 88++ for June of 2013, and 80++ for Nov-Dec 2013. The place is beautiful, the room we would use the sky light room would be redone early 2013, so it would be brand new by March, however I haven't heard good things about the food there. Going to Swan club tonight and left messages for Crest Hollow, and Bridgeview, waiting for them to call us back.

Re: Anyone have Hall info?
I'm upset with these places. Thinking about it, Watermill told me he could 'get it down' to $75 for the Saturday after Christmas, but you were offered the same price for a Saturday in March? And I told him Dec 2012 or March 2013.. He's just trying to fill in the crappy days and is trying to make me think that he is giving me a deal. Not happy with Watermill right now. Wedding planning is becoming more stressful the fun.

Well it depends what you went in there asking for. If you said for December then they are not going to give you the prices for March. If you are specifically asking for a certain month they are going to give you those prices--they are all business men. They are going to start their prices at the upper margin and when you don't book right away they call you back and tell you 'hey I talked to my manager..we can get that number down to x y and z.'
Don't be frustrated. it's part of the game and their business. Talk to FH about what month you would like to get married in. Ask for numbers in the month that you would PREFER to be married in and then ask for numbers in the month that you would get married in to keep the price down. For example: If you want to get married in June ask for those numbers. Then say.. and what kind of number could you give me for March? Thank them for their time and then LEAVE. Don't book right on the spot--let them think about it and most managers will call you back!
Relax! This is supposed to be fun for you--when it stops being fun..stop planning for a while!
Good luck!

That sounds so great, now what if you asked for a Thursday night the quote would be even better. I hope when it's my turn I can haggle the price down also.
