my sister bought me TIVO and its complicated (for me) to hook up. I need a telephone jack nearby. Its a pain in the a$$. My friend said she has the service through Cablevision- without the phone jack hookup.. goes through cable. Does anyone have and what do they think of it?

I am blonde too. Mike said its the same thing as hooking up a regular box two wires that srew into the back!

WE HAVE IT WE HAVE IT!!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!! not only can you record more hours then TIVO and it's cheaper but you can rewind or pause live TV!!!!!
you have to be watching a show for at least five minutes then it automatically starts recording it. you can go to the bathroom and hit pause on an every day show...then if you leave it paused for a while you can get ahead of the commericals!!!! by FF!!!!
