Anyone have/know of an apt in the Npt/Hunt/Commack area?

DH and I are thinking about leaving the apt we are in now b/c we are not happy anymore being in a basement. It is very dreary and we are not happy with the area we are in anymore.

A house just does not seem to be in our cards right now so we may just see if there is an affordable apt in the Northport/Huntington/Commack type area (since that is the area we love!). Does anyone know of anything there that is affordable (around $1000/month)?

Are you near a train station? DH works in NYC and I work in Westbury so we did not really want to go further east than the Smithtown area.

I am going to show him these pics though because this is a beautiful apt, esp for that price.

It takes about a 10 minute drive to get to Ronkonkoma..

I did find it but the rent was $1400 (the post was by rosebud if you want to search)

i live in east northport in a 2br 1 bath for 1200. i went thru a realtor, susan kogan from distinctive properties. if you check the huntington pennysaver there are TONS of apartments in this area. there is one around the block from me for rent. 2 family house across the street from a school.
