Anyone have photos of Viennese hour at Jericho Terrace?
Has anyone had Viannese hour at Jericho Terrace? I would really love to see pictures of how they do it or any info on how good it was. I added it on and have an idea about how it might look.. but of course pics would help!!

Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures but I just went to a wedding at JT last year. They brought the tables out onto the dancefloor and to be honest, it stopped the party, so I wasn't crazy about how they did that. I'm sure they could always arrange to have it in another room if you asked though.

It seems like they do that at every RH. I went to a wedding at Sand Castle and they brought this train out onto the dance floor. It took up the whole dance floor so the party stopped. I wasn't too crazy about that. At Floral Terrace, my cousin specifically requested to have it in another room but everyone left to go get snacks so that kinda stopped the party, too. The dance floor was empty.
My mom and BMs and I did a DIY candy/dessert buffet at JT. Originally, they wanted to do the same thing, wheel it out after cake. I said no, that won't work. I want the candy buffet set up through out the entire reception. Our maitre'd Jose worked with us and found a spot by the photobooth for the candy buffets! Guests loved it and since we had desserts like mini cheesecakes and red velvet truffles and choc. covered strawberries, we def. did not need the Viennese Hour! You can check out my review for pics!

Seriously, the candy buffet was AWESOME! The candy buffet and photobooth were my MUST haves. lol!
We rented the big (I think it fits like 10 people) photobooth from Partybooths.com- they're an LIW vendor! It was $1095 for the 3 hour rental and included an attendant, unlimited photos, our monogram printed at the bottom of the photos, and a CD/online gallery with all pictures. We went a step further and bought a whole bunch of props for the guests to use in the pictures. Everyone had so much fun.. here's some pics...

ETA: A lot of people consider the photobooth or candy buffet (we provided half pint chinese take-out boxes for guests to bring home candy) as the favor, but we didn't! We also custom made CDs with music from the wedding and purchased these photo coasters which just fit the pictures from the photobooth perfectly. Each guest got a set of 2.

We got those ourselves. Go to a costume store after Halloween when everything is cheap! But be prepared, a lot of guests took props home, wore them on the dance floor, etc. It was a blast!

Some people aren't fans of the VH but I was recently at a wedding at North Ritz and the VH was amazing. I LOVED it! They did it in a separate room and while the dance floor wasn't interrupted at all everyone left to go to the VH and there weren't enough seats. I went to a wedding at Westbury Manor over the summer where they brought it onto the dance floor and the party kept going. While people were waiting on line there were plenty of people still dancing and at least the party was all still together. I preferred it that way.

Re: Anyone have photos of Viennese hour at Jericho Terrace?
i had a VH and it was AMAZING! My guests were cheering when they saw the 45 yards of goodies coming out. It was a hit and my guests loved it. They threw in popcorn machine and cotton candy machine (a hit). We brought to go boxes and our guests nearly died.I wasn't going to go for it at first but my mother convinced me and I'm glad she did. I didn't want it to take away from dancing so they allowed guests to get stuff and once everyone got their first plate (some people automatically came and filled to go boxes
) they moved the tables to the side of the room to clear the dance floor but also allow people to pick at the sweets from the sidelines. My pics are basically the same as the ones posted above. I think our wedding wouldn't have been the same without it. People are still raving about it.

Re: Anyone have photos of Viennese hour at Jericho Terrace?
WOW.. great responses!!Love all the pics too! ourwedding9510... the tables look DELISH! Thank you!
I am definitely keeping the Viennese hour. We extended the reception an extra hour as well. The idea my Mom and I thought of was to do the cake cutting at the same time the Viannese comes out. We would eliminate wait service for the cake and at that point people can choose whatever they want. I am hoping it wont break up the party... I have a feeling it won't. Either way we would do the cake.. so why not make it HUGE! We also are going to have small boxes at the table so that people can take a couple of desserts as well. I was more curious to see what they offer and by the looks, it seems great!I have always imagined my wedding with the Viennese. We are going to do the photobooth as well!
