we did the pews and the two arrangements at the alter...we took the two pieces from the altar and placed them on the windowsill behind our table at the hall.

We did the pews and 2 altar arrangements as well! I will post when my pro-proofs arrive! We did the first 10 pews with flowers and the remaining pews with large bows!

Ditto. The Church looked great without them.

I was just at a wedding there, pretty church.

The bride did decorations for the pews and 2 arrangements at the alter, which were then placed outside the reception hall. The florist took care of all church flowers, and it looked very nice.

For my daughter's wedding She had two arrangements made for the church and I made the pew flowers, they came out amazing and they saved a ton of money, pics below:

agreed - the church looked beautiful regardless!

also, i had no aisle runner (church didn't allow it)... while i look back at the pictures and kind of wish we had one, no one missed it AT ALL!

great way to save $$ and feel confident that it will still look beautiful!

We didn't get church flowers. This is a picture of our church the day of the wedding and I think it looks classic and elegant just the way it is. Sometimes you just don't need anything.

if i were given a choice of having flowers between the reception and the church, i would choose the church.

i know the ceremony is short, but it's the most important part of the wedding for me so i wanted the church to look even more grand on my wedding day.

we had tulle draping and all-white flowers every few rows:

and two large all-white altar arrangements and one table arrangement both of which were transferred to the reception after the ceremony.
